What is the cause of blood in the stool during menstruation

Some girls will have bloody stools during their menstrual period. They will be panicked and scared, thinking that they have some terrible disease like cancer. However, some girls do not take these things seriously and think it is a normal phenomenon of menstruation. Whether you are overly panicked or don’t care at all, it is wrong. Now let us understand what bloody stools during menstruation are.

Symptoms:

Some women will experience symptoms of bloody stools before or during menstruation, but the bloody stools gradually stop after menstruation, and this happens repeatedly every month. This situation is called menstrual bloody stools. Also known as difference meridian or wrong meridian. This symptom can be seen in what Western medicine calls endometriosis.

Associated symptoms:

The most common symptom type of bloody stool during menstruation is gastrointestinal heat syndrome. The cause of gastrointestinal heat stagnation is mostly related to the daily habit of eating spicy and hot foods, or drinking alcohol indiscriminately, which leads to the long-term accumulation of heat evil.

In addition to gastrointestinal heat syndrome, other common syndromes include yin deficiency and blood heat and spleen failure to control syndrome. Yin deficiency and blood heat syndrome is more common in women with Yin deficiency constitution.

Causes:

Pathologies such as uterine hypoplasia, insufficient endometrium, malposition or deformity are all causes of missed periods. This is because uterine disease leads to ovarian dysfunction, and ovarian function is controlled by the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. If the ovarian function is impaired, it will inevitably cause menstrual disorders.

Traditional Chinese medicine has the saying that menstrual blood flows out of the large intestine, causing irregular menstrual flow or "premenstrual blood in the stool" or "blind menstruation". And believe that the main reasons for the misalignment are:

1. Insufficient Yin blood, coupled with excessive mental work, such as sentimentality, excessive worry, emotional frustration, anxiety, irritability, etc., leading to Yin deficiency;

2. A love of spicy and roasted food will cause internal heat accumulation and damage to the yin meridians;

3. Spleen deficiency cannot regulate blood, liver deficiency cannot store blood, kidney deficiency cannot absorb blood, and blood in the uterus grows abnormally. It seems that irregular menstruation is related to emotions, diet, and diseases of the spleen, liver, and kidneys.

Seeing this, dear ladies, have you ever done the above-mentioned things that caused this disease? If you have, correct it immediately. If not, then don't do it in the future. Also, if you have blood in your stool during menstruation, don't panic too much, but don't be nervous at all. See a doctor promptly and make sure you are in a good mood, and everything else will be fine.
