How long does it take for surgical wounds to heal?

When I was one week away from my due date, I had spotting one day, so I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor said that my nutrients were very turbid and insisted that I have a cesarean section. I had the cesarean section, and the wound was extremely painful, and the recovery was not good. The scar on my belly was also very tight, and sometimes it was very painful to get out of bed and walk. I don't know why this happened? Others have recovered well. I want to know how long it takes for a surgical wound to heal?

Cesarean section is a surgical delivery method. The cesarean section scar will begin to proliferate about 2 to 3 weeks after the surgical incision has healed. The proliferative period lasts about 3 to 6 months, and the proliferation of fibrous tissue gradually stops. The scar will gradually become flat and soft, and its color will become dark brown. Therefore, special attention should be paid when caring.

1. Change the wound dressing frequently and keep the wound and the surrounding area clean and dry.

2. Protect the scab on the incision after surgery. Removing the scab too early will take away the epidermal cells that are still in the repair stage, and even tear off the dermal tissue, causing itching in the wound.

3. When resting, it is best to lie on your side with your body slightly bent to reduce tension on the abdominal wall.

4. Under the guidance of a doctor, you can apply some topical medications, such as Fuqingsong, triamcinolone, dexamethasone, etc.

5. Keep the scar clean at all times, wipe off sweat in time, and do not wash with hot water.

6. After the stitches are removed, avoid strenuous exercise, excessive extension or lateral flexion of the body.

7. Improve your diet appropriately and eat more fruits, eggs, lean meat, pork skin and other foods rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, and amino acids. Avoid eating spicy foods such as peppers, onions, and garlic.

The recovery time of each person's skin is different. Normally, you must not touch the wound with your hands, because this will affect the recovery of the wound. Also, do not let the wound get wet, as this may cause infection. Also, you should eat more nutritious food. The most important thing is to relax your mentality, because if your mentality is good, everything will become very good, and the wound will recover better. In addition, you should get enough sleep at ordinary times, and you can also apply some aloe vera gel on the scar.
