What to do with malignant cervical polyps

Cervical polyps are more common in married women. What should you do if you find malignant cervical polyps? You must have surgery to remove them as soon as possible and follow the doctor's advice for treatment. If you feel unwell, you must go to the hospital for a check-up as soon as possible. Female friends should have a physical examination once a year. Nowadays sanitary napkins contain chemical ingredients. You should have a physical examination once a year. The uterus is very important and a healthy uterus will make you look good. Cervical polyps are not tumors and it is impossible to say whether they are benign or malignant, but they have the potential to become cancerous.

Cervical polyps are a common gynecological disease that occurs most frequently in women aged 30-50. The disease is mainly caused by long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation, which leads to excessive proliferation of local mucosa of the cervical canal. In addition, the uterus has a tendency to expel foreign bodies, causing the hyperplastic mucosa to gradually protrude from the base to the external os of the cervix to form polyps. Polyps are mostly benign, but sometimes they may be part of a malignant tumor of the cervix, so special attention must be paid.

The occurrence of cervical polyps, in addition to inflammatory stimulation, is also related to factors such as sexual life and childbirth. Married women account for more than 98% of patients. Because more than one-third of patients have no obvious symptoms, even if there is inflammation, it is mostly mild and vaginal bleeding is only sporadic, so cervical polyps are easily ignored. Some patients experience bleeding during or after strenuous exercise or even increased abdominal pressure. Some patients may have yellow leucorrhea, which often has an odor or contains blood.

The treatment of cervical polyps is mainly surgical resection, but if accompanied by inflammation, the infection must be controlled first; when bleeding, hemostasis is the main treatment, and surgery is performed after the inflammation is controlled. Although polyps rarely become cancerous, the canceration rate is also 0.2% to 0.4%. For those over 45 years old, especially those with cervical polyps before and after menopause, the polyps should be sent for pathological examination after surgical resection. If there are signs of malignancy, treatment measures should be taken as soon as possible.

If cervical polyps are not treated, they can cause bleeding during sexual intercourse or bloody leucorrhea, affecting sexual life. If women suspect they have vaginitis, cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease or other inflammation, they should consider having a comprehensive gynecological examination to detect and treat the disease in a timely manner. Anyway, there are many dangers, so timely surgical treatment!

As mentioned above, female friends should always observe their leucorrhea in life. If the leucorrhea is abnormal with blood or the body feels unwell, they should consult a gynecologist as soon as possible. If polyps are found in the uterus, surgical treatment is required. Even if you don't choose surgical treatment for the time being, you should still have regular checkups to know the condition of your body. Uterine polyps are very common and should be removed early to prevent the possibility of cancer. Women should have regular physical examinations.
