Symptoms and precautions of menopause

Menopause is something every woman goes through. Menopause refers to the decline of ovarian function and the cessation of menstruation. Menopause can be divided into natural menopause and artificial menopause. Many women will experience symptoms such as infrequent menstruation, sudden menopause, and menstrual cycle disorders, and may even experience a significant decline in ovarian function until menstruation stops, causing great harm to women's physical and mental health. Many people don’t know much about it. Below I will give you a detailed introduction to the symptoms and precautions of women’s menopause.

Performance:

Menopause represents the decline of ovarian function, depletion of estrogen secretion, cessation of menstruation, and termination of reproductive function. It is generally divided into three stages: premenopause, menopause and postmenopause. Menopause is calculated based on the time of the last menstrual period for women over 40 years old. Most women go through menopause between the ages of 45 and 55.

The sudden and obvious lack of estrogen after menopause can cause some pain and discomfort, which may occur in some people before menopause. It is often manifested by changes in mood and emotions, irritability, excitability, insomnia, anxiety, inner uneasiness, depression, paroxysmal facial flushing, hot flashes, sweating, dry and itchy skin, sometimes a crawling feeling on the skin, loss of skin elasticity, increased wrinkles, gradual muscle relaxation, occasional pain, fatigue or weakness, headache, dizziness and unstable blood pressure, etc. These symptoms are called menopausal syndrome.

Note:

1. Wear multiple layers of clothing, preferably cotton. If you get hot flashes, take off your outer clothing. Also, drink a glass of cool water or cold juice when a hot flash starts.

2. Wear cotton pajamas and keep the bedroom cool. Put extra sheets on your bed. When hot flashes occur, wet the top sheet and remove it.

3. Pay attention to your diet, don’t drink alcohol or eat spicy food.

4. Keep exercising. Some women find that regular exercise can lessen the effects of hot flashes and help them sleep better.

5. Eat more tofu. Beans contain a substance from the same family as estrogen that may help relieve symptoms like hot flashes. You can also drink cool soy milk when hot flashes start.

6. Be patient. The symptom of menopause is "the rabbit's tail - it won't grow longer". It will gradually disappear within 3-5 years at most.

The above has introduced in detail the symptoms and precautions of menopause. I believe everyone has understood them. Women may experience some gynecological diseases during menopause. Therefore, once women find symptoms of menopause, they should go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time. Make your body get better faster and devote yourself better to work and life.
