Is it normal for the placenta to be mature at 25 weeks?

During a woman's pregnancy, she will undergo a variety of complicated prenatal examinations. However, for pregnant mothers, each examination is very confusing, and they are not clear about the examination items and the meaning of the data. Generally, the maturity of the placenta is checked during pregnancy. So, is it normal for the placenta to be at maturity level 1 at 25 weeks?

At 25 weeks of pregnancy, the embryo is at level 1 maturity, which is normal, and there are 4 levels of placental maturity. The different maturity states of the embryos reflect the function of the placenta, especially in the late pregnancy, when the placental maturity reaches level 4, it means that the embryo has already frailty, and the embryo can no longer provide sufficient nutrients to the fetus. Excessive frailty of the embryo can cause placental abruption, posing a huge threat to the life safety of the fetus.

Therefore, pregnant women must go to the hospital regularly for abdominal color Doppler ultrasound examinations to understand the complete condition of the embryo and regulate the embryo properly, especially in the late pregnancy. Do not eat too much high-calcium food to avoid placental aging. The grade classification standards are as follows:

1. Before 28 weeks of pregnancy: embryo level 0-1

2. 29-36 weeks of pregnancy: embryonic grade 1-2

3. 37-40 weeks of pregnancy: embryo grade 2-3

Level 1 indicates that the embryo is tending to mature, level 2 indicates that the embryo has already matured, and level 3 indicates that the placenta is aging. Due to the accumulation of thickening substances and cellulose, the ability of the embryo to transport oxygen and nutrients is greatly reduced. In the embryo of stage 3 maturity, the fetus is in danger at any time. Seek medical attention immediately and take emergency measures.

Placental maturity level one at 25 weeks is abnormal. There are 4 levels of placental maturity: level zero, level one, level two and level three. Level one indicates that the embryo is basically complete, level two indicates that the placenta is mature, and level three indicates that the embryo has declined. Due to thickening and cellulose congestion, the embryo's ability to transport oxygen and nutrients is reduced, and the fetus is at risk at any time. The maturity of each person's placenta is different. Generally speaking, the placenta is grade 0 in the middle and late pregnancy (12 to 28 weeks); grade 1 in the late pregnancy (30 to 32 weeks), and grade 2 is relatively complete. If it is found after 37 weeks, the placenta is grade 3. Combined with the value of the fetal biparietal diameter, that is, the baby's weight is estimated to be 2500 grams, the embryo maturity should be considered, and the possibility of fetal intrauterine growth and development delay should be alerted; at 38 weeks, the embryo enters the third stage and it is a normal process.
