Female lupus erythematosus pictures

Many people may have heard of the name of systemic lupus erythematosus, but only a few have seen it. This disease mostly occurs in women, and the causes are various, usually caused by problems with the human immune system. Not to mention affecting appearance, it can also pose a threat to life. So what are the early symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus in women? How to detect lupus erythematosus as early as possible and find out the causes?

Early symptoms of lupus erythematosus in women

Skin damage is also a symptom of lupus erythematosus. The vast majority of lupus erythematosus patients have skin lesions, which are the main basis for diagnosis, except for the butterfly-shaped erythema on both cheeks and the soft spots across the bridge of the nose.

The clinical symptoms of lupus erythematosus also include fatigue. Approximately 90% of lupus patients experience mild to moderately severe fatigue. However, even in mild cases, patients cannot engage in daily life and exercise. Increased fatigue and helplessness are typical early signs of a lupus flare-up (reignition).

Joint and muscle pain is one of the clinical symptoms of lupus erythematosus. Approximately 95% of patients will experience joint pain (arthritis) at some point in their current medical history, and 70% of lupus patients have joint and muscle pain as the initial clinical symptoms of lupus.

The main symptoms of lupus erythematosus are redness, increased surface temperature, and edema. Morning stiffness is usually significant.

Causes of lupus erythematosus

Skin changes are a typical symptom of lupus erythematosus. When your skin has rash, or when you wash your hands with relatively cold water, the rash area becomes very white, and the feeling of cold is very obvious.

The same is true for the feeling of heat. Redness appears in the rash area. Many people think that this is caused by frostbite and often miss the opportunity to go to the hospital. In fact, when you have this kind of symptom, you should really be careful about lupus erythematosus, which is its symptom.

Women should pay special attention to the following in summer: if you feel sleepy all over the body and have no clear reason, and if you also have other symptoms, such as sudden weight loss and fever, you should be alert, as it is probably not a normal condition. You should go to the hospital for examination in time to avoid the risk of lupus exacerbation and involvement of other organs and tissues.

There are many early symptoms of female lupus erythematosus, which requires female friends to pay close attention to their bodies and not ignore their health due to work, which would lead to big losses. Usually, you should do more outdoor activities and maintain a positive attitude, which will enhance your immunity. Not only will lupus erythematosus be less likely to come to you, but other diseases will also stay away from you.
