Location map of female liver

For everyone, the liver is one of the most important organs of the human body, and all toxins in the body need to be excreted through it. Many people only know that it is important, but they don't even know where it is, let alone what symptoms indicate that its health is threatened. The answers to these two questions are given below. Let’s learn them together.

Where is the liver located?

The liver is located in the upper right corner of the abdomen. Due to its large size, the area from the right rib area to the center of the abdomen belongs to the liver.

Most of the liver is on the right side of the ribs and upper abdomen, and is surrounded by the right ribs, with only a small area next to the left ribs. Normally, we cannot feel our own liver. The upper part of the liver is close to the diaphragm. If we take a deep breath and let the diaphragm sink at the same time, it is possible to touch the liver under the ribs.

This symptom indicates liver failure

1. Fingernails: Fingernails feel bumpy. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the liver is responsible for the muscle fascia of the body. Therefore, once there is dirt in the liver, the fingernails will cause some changes. If the nails are dark in color, it means you are either anemic or have kidney problems. And if the fingernails are also uneven, it is mostly a malfunction of the liver.

2. Breast hyperplasia: After suffering from breast hyperplasia, female friends will experience breast pain before menstruation. The mammary gland is located in a key position along the liver meridian. If toxic substances accumulate in the liver meridian, it will cause breast hyperplasia.

3. Depression: The liver controls our mood. If there is dirt in the liver that cannot be discharged, it will affect the activity of Qi, and thus make our mood more and more depressed.

4. Getting drunk easily: Some people used to have very good blood flow and could drink several bottles of wine as if they had not drunk any. But now they get drunk after drinking a little bit. This shows that their liver function is damaged and they can no longer evaporate alcohol directly.

5. Dark complexion: There is a small amount of iron in the liver. Once the liver is damaged, the iron in it will enter the blood. In this case, the iron content in the blood will increase, causing the complexion to turn dark.

6. More acne: The progesterone androgen in the human body will affect the metabolism of the sebaceous glands, and the liver helps to keep the androgen in a balanced state. Once the liver is damaged, it will cause the skin to secrete more substances, leading to more and more acne.

Regardless of whether you feel unwell or not, it is best to go to the hospital for a thorough physical examination every year to see if there are any hidden diseases. If there are any, it would be helpful to nip them in the bud immediately.

In addition, if you find yourself experiencing similar symptoms, it is very likely that your liver has become diseased and you must seek treatment as soon as possible, otherwise your life may be in danger.
