Pictures of nodules on the areola during pregnancy

Compared with before pregnancy, women will experience some physiological changes during pregnancy. Many people don't know how to interpret this pregnancy information, and don't know how to distinguish between normal pregnancy symptoms and symptoms caused by pregnancy. Will women develop small nodules around their nipples in early pregnancy?

Will small nodules appear around the nipples during early pregnancy?

With the effect of pregnant women's hormones, the breasts will expand and feel swollen around the nipples, the areola will become darker in color, and small nodules about the size of soybeans or mung beans will grow on the nipples. These are all normal physiological changes during pregnancy.

Symptoms of early pregnancy include:

1. Severe breast pain

A week or two after conception, your breasts will become very soft. Because the body produces a lot of estrogen and corpus luteum in the early stages of pregnancy, the breast ducts begin to grow. And these androgen can make the breast store more fluid, so you will feel the breast is heavier and more sore than before, and more sensitive than PMS.

2. Bleeding

When the sperm and egg combine and adhere to the uterus 6-12 days after pregnancy, mild vaginal bleeding may occur. There is no harm in it, but if you suspect you are pregnant, you should go to the hospital immediately, because if the bleeding occurs after 12 days of pregnancy, you may suspect that it is the menstrual period.

3. Fatigue

In the first few weeks of pregnancy, the body will work continuously for 24 hours to support the pregnancy, and fatigue is the body's response. The corpus luteum copper produced during pregnancy can increase the basic body temperature and thus cause lack of energy. And the heart rate will increase to provide a large amount of CO2 to the uterus, so you will feel very tired.

4. Increased urination frequency

You may think that this sign will not come so early, and it should appear when the baby is squeezed into the bladder, but in fact this sign may appear in the early stages of pregnancy. Not only does a swollen uterus put pressure on the bladder, but the increased blood volume also puts pressure on the kidneys, resulting in increased urine.

Pregnancy diagnosis test

1. Color Doppler Ultrasound Examination

(1) Type B ultrasound imaging: It is a quick and accurate way to check early pregnancy. In the enlarged uterine outline, a ring-shaped halo originating from the amniotic sac is seen. The ring may first be visible at 5 weeks of pregnancy. If regular fetal heartbeats and baby movements are seen in the pregnancy ring, it can be diagnosed as early pregnancy and a live fetus.

(2) Ultrasonic Doppler method: In the enlarged uterus area, regular, single high-pitched fetal heart sounds can be heard using an ultrasonic Doppler device, which can be diagnosed as early pregnancy and a live fetus, and first appears at 7 weeks of pregnancy.

2. Pregnancy test: Positive HCG in blood or urine can help diagnose early pregnancy.

3. For women with biphasic body temperature measured during ovulation, the high temperature phase continues for days and does not show a decrease, which indicates a high possibility of early pregnancy. However, the basic body temperature curve only reflects the function of the corpus luteum and cannot reflect the condition of the test tube embryo.
