Pictures of pregnancy urine

After a woman becomes pregnant, her abdomen becomes larger and larger. This is because the gradual growth and development of the fetus causes the uterus to swell. Generally, during pregnancy, women will experience some adverse symptoms, such as fatigue, lethargy, nausea, retching, and swelling of the lower limbs. So, what is the reason for being unable to hold urine during pregnancy?

It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to be unable to hold their urine during pregnancy. In the early stages of pregnancy, the uterus will press forward against the bladder, which will cause pregnant women to experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and inability to hold urine. After the 12th week of pregnancy, the uterus will give birth to the pelvis. At this time, the pressure on the bladder will gradually disappear, and the condition of not being able to hold urine will be alleviated or disappear.

Towards the end of pregnancy, the uterus of the pregnant woman will further swell, and pressure on the bladder will occur again. Especially after the fetal head enters the pelvis, the bladder will be severely compressed, which will reduce the bladder's urine storage capacity, increase the frequency of urination in pregnant women, and continue to have difficulty holding urine, and even cause stress incontinence.

It is a normal physiological need for pregnant women to have frequent urination, urgency and inability to hold urine. After giving birth, the pressure on the bladder will be eliminated and you can recover. However, if you have frequent and urgent urination, cannot hold your urine, and also have symptoms such as urinary pain and urethral itching, it is likely caused by a urinary tract infection and you need to see a doctor immediately.
