How does Traditional Chinese Medicine treat dysmenorrhea?

3. Peach kernel beef soup:

Cut 500g of beef into small cubes, add 20g of peach kernels and 3 slices of ginger, then add water and salt and stew for 4-6 hours.

4. Rose and egg soup:

Boil 5 roses with 30g of brown sugar in water for 30 minutes. Beat in an egg and cook until done.

Common symptoms include cold pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation, scanty and dark menstruation with clots, delayed menstruation, preference for warmth and pressure, relief from heat, cold limbs, poor appetite and loose stools.

Cut 500g of mutton into small cubes and put into a casserole. Add 20g of angelica, 30g of ginger, 10s of garlic, a little pepper and salt, add appropriate amount of water and cook for 6 hours.

2. Cinnamon Beef Casserole:

Cut 500g of beef into small cubes and put into the oil pan. Add 2 cardamoms, 5 star anises, 20g cinnamon, 1 piece of dried ginger and 2g Sichuan peppercorns. Stir-fry repeatedly until the moisture of the beef is dried up. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, salt and water into the casserole and stew for 6 hours.

Although abdominal pain symptoms occur when menstruation comes, the causes of these symptoms are different, so the treatment methods cannot be the same. Symptomatic treatment should be based on the specific cause. This can be achieved in traditional Chinese medicine.
