Infertility test items order

1. The whole body physical examination is mainly to check whether the patient's body and reproductive organs have any abnormalities in growth and development. It can also check the patient's growth, nutrition and mental state, and most importantly, conduct examinations of the reproductive organs.

2. Routine semen examination and sperm testing are necessary examination items for male infertility. The key is to observe the semen color, quantity and evaporation time, pH acidity and alkalinity, sperm count, sperm motility, survival rate and shape under a microscope.

3. Semen examination: The doctor will massage the semen to obtain it for examination. Normal semen is thinner, colorless or light white liquid, has a protein luster, is acidic, and has a pH value of about 6-7. However, when inflammation occurs, the material is thick, yellow or dark red and turbid, or contains sediment and is sticky.

What is the best time to test for infertility?

1. If the secretion of growth hormone in female breast milk is high, it will affect the normal ovulation physiological cycle. The secretion of breast milk hormone increases physiologically in the evening, especially at night. Therefore, it is recommended to check in the morning for better accuracy.

2. Contrast imaging is the most common test to assess the patency of a woman's bilateral fallopian tubes by injecting contrast agent into the uterine body and bilateral fallopian tubes. Therefore, do not check during the ovulation period, as it will lead the sperm-egg combination to the tail end of the fallopian tubes and the abdomen, causing ectopic pregnancy; do not check during the menstrual period, as menstruation may block the fallopian tubes and lead to misdiagnosis. Therefore, the best time to check is within three to seven days after the end of menstruation.

3. Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. The time for hysteroscopy should be performed within 3 to 7 days after the menstrual period is over. At this time, the endometrium is thin, uterine cavity diseases are easily exposed, and bleeding is less.

4. Six items of sex hormones. Usually, blood is drawn on the second or third day of the menstrual period to check the testosterone. Because at this time, the testosterone in the woman's body is not likely to fluctuate greatly, so problems such as uterine ovarian aging, chronic anovulation, and polycystic ovary syndrome can be identified.

Pregnancy is a big deal for everyone, so fertility testing is also something we cannot ignore. Once something goes wrong at a certain stage, the result may be completely different. Therefore, before the test, we must understand what to check and be well prepared. For this matter, the editor has made some suggestions and hopes that everyone can listen to them.
