How thick is the endometrium during ovulation for implantation

Female friends in the reservation stage will go to the hospital to check their eggs. During the ovulation period, as time changes, the development of the eggs will also vary and affect the pregnancy situation. In addition to the condition of the eggs, the thickness of the endometrium is also important. So how thick should the endometrium be during ovulation for the embryo to implant?

1. What is the thickness of the endometrium for embryo implantation?

The quality of the uterine wall is important for embryo implantation. The thickness of the uterine wall between 0.8-1.4cm is conducive to the implantation of the embryo combined with sperm and egg. During menstruation, the overall shearing of the uterine wall is almost zero. When the menstrual period just ends, the uterine wall is super thin. Before the next menstruation, the uterine wall is thicker. Generally, the thickness reaches 10mm, which is also a suitable thickness for pregnancy.

The sperm and egg combine to develop into an embryo that meets the embryo implantation criteria. (Day 4-6) After the sperm and egg have been swam in the fallopian tubes for three days, they have already broken down several times and become a cluster of cells. It entered the palace of the virgin joyfully. This place is like a warm paradise filled with delicious food. After the sperm and egg arrive here, they will be hooked by the seaweed-like ribbons in the uterus and then stuck with the mucus in the uterus. Therefore, mothers don’t have to worry about the sperm and egg falling out of the uterus.

However, the quality of the uterine wall is indeed important for the implantation of the baby's embryo. One is whether it is warm enough, and the other is whether it is nutritious enough. If the conditions are not right, the nutrients are insufficient, the thickness of the inner membrane is insufficient, and the small cell group cannot further disintegrate. 4~6 days after fertilization, the sperm and egg have not yet taken root and settled. It floats and swims in the uterus, absorbing sufficient nutrients and then disintegrating until it becomes a complete and cell-forming embryo.

2. What is embryo implantation?

What is embryo implantation?

After sexual intercourse, the semen ejaculated by men contains about 100-300 million male sperms. This huge "team" "joyfully" goes upstream in the female reproductive system. The sperm of a man swings with its little tail at a speed of 2-3mm per minute. After a long "journey" - inside the vagina, cervix, and uterine cavity, it reaches the fallopian tubes, where the sperm and egg (actually the secondary coil oocyte that is trapped in the late stage of the second division of meiosis) "merge". The head and body of the male sperm enter the egg, and the male sperm cytoplasm combines with the egg cytoplasm, which is called sperm-egg fusion. Usually only one sperm can enter the egg and fuse with it to form a sperm-egg combination. This biological reaction that prevents multiple sperm from entering the egg is called the zona pellucida reaction.

Adhesion is accompanied by partial rupture or complete disappearance of the zona pellucida, the trophoblast near one end of the endothelial cell mass rapidly disintegrates, and the fine villi near the uterine wall epithelial cells and the two opposite tissue surfaces cross the gap, generally overlapping each other in a finger-like manner, and then the villi intertwine with each other. About 10 days after fertilization, all blastocysts are located in the uterine wall. On the 11th day, there is a locking plug composed of small blood clots and cell fragments on the uterine wall. On the 12th day, the blastocyst is almost completely covered by proliferating epithelial cells and forms a small protrusion, and embryo implantation is completed.
