Are blisters on the mouth caused by "getting angry"?

Not really

Blisters around the mouth are not caused by "getting angry". In fact, in most cases, it is a manifestation of herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection, medically known as oral herpes or herpes simplex.

Modern medical research shows that blisters around the mouth are more closely related to viral infection and the immune system. Specifically, HSV is divided into two types: HSV-1 and HSV-2. HSV-1 is usually associated with oral herpes. The virus lurks in the human body and is usually activated when the immune system is weakened, such as after a cold, fatigue, excessive stress or exposure to the sun, causing small blisters to appear around the mouth and lips.

These blisters are often accompanied by redness, swelling and pain at first, and may then rupture and form scabs. Many people think that this is due to "heat", but recurrent viral infection is the key cause.

Therefore, to reduce the occurrence of blisters around the mouth, the important thing is not to find ways to "reduce heat" or "relieve heat", but to improve the unhealthy lifestyle, such as getting enough sleep, regulating stress, reducing colds, avoiding sun exposure, avoiding excessive fatigue, etc. Patients who frequently develop blisters around the mouth should consult a doctor in time and control the condition with antiviral drugs if necessary.
