At this time, a blood test for Hcg and progesterone levels is needed to basically check the status of the pregnancy. If it is an intrauterine pregnancy and the embryonic development process is good, Hcg will double. For example, if the Hcg on the 1st check is 200, then the Hcg on the 3rd check should be more than 400, which is a doubling. If Hcg doubling is not good and progesterone is also low, then the possibility of ectopic pregnancy, incomplete embryo development in test tube, and threatened abortion should be ruled out.
