In recent years, cervical cancer has become the second largest malignant tumor threatening women's health and quality of life. Studies have confirmed that persistent HPV infection is the main cause of cervical cancer. HPV infection is very common, and sexual behavior is the main route of HPV infection. 1. Three early signs of cervical cancer 1. Contact bleeding That is, vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse or gynecological examination. 2. Irregular bleeding The menstrual period is prolonged and the menstrual flow increases. Elderly patients often present with irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause. 3. Vaginal discharge Most patients have vaginal discharge that is white or bloody, thin, watery or rice-like, and has a fishy odor. Late-stage patients may have a large amount of rice-like or purulent leucorrhea due to necrosis of cancerous tissue and infection. 2. Prevention of cervical cancer 1. Promote HPV preventive vaccination (primary prevention) to prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer by blocking HPV infection. 2. Popularize and standardize cervical cancer screening to detect SIL early (secondary prevention); promptly treat high-grade lesions to block the occurrence of invasive cervical cancer (tertiary prevention). 3. Carry out education on the prevention of cervical cancer, increase the rates of preventive vaccination and screening, and establish a healthy lifestyle. 3. Treatment of HPV positive Once infected with HPV, the first thing to do is to check the cervical TCT to see if there are any abnormal cells. If so, a colposcopy should be performed before deciding on the next treatment plan. If there is no abnormality in cervical TCT, on the one hand, we must rely on the body's resistance, such as strengthening diet nutrition, increasing exercise, and adequate sleep. On the other hand, regular check-ups should be conducted, and HPV+TCT should be checked once a year. Once abnormalities are found, treatment should be started immediately to nip cervical cancer in the bud. |
