How to prevent cervical cancer?

How to prevent cervical cancer?

First, vaccination

In fact, we all know that vaccination is the best prevention. At present, there are three vaccines in China. In fact, each of them has a protective effect. The nine-valent vaccine has a higher preventive ability. However, it is still recommended to choose the vaccine according to your age and other factors.

Second, sex life should be hygienic

Did you know that many cervical cancer patients slowly develop cancer from inflammation? Therefore, you must maintain good hygiene during sex, not only for yourself, but also for your partner's genital hygiene. Only by maintaining hygiene can the occurrence of cervical cancer be reduced, so pay more attention to cleaning during sex.

Third, treat the disease if you have it.

We have said before that many cervical cancers are caused by gynecological inflammation, so if you have gynecological diseases, you should seek treatment in time, especially vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and fallopian tube inflammation.

Fourth, improve resistance

Obviously, the appearance of cancer means that one's own resistance is a bit weak, so you must find ways to improve your immunity. Only when the immune system is of good quality can it fight against viruses and bacteria, so you should eat more meat or fruits, and of course exercise is also indispensable.

In addition to the above considerations, more proactive measures are recommended:

For children aged 21 to 29, the screening frequency is once every 3 years, with a separate cervical cytology test.

For those aged 30 to 65, the preferred screening frequency is once every 5 years; the second choice is once every 3 years, and combined cytology and HPV screening is required.

For women over 65 years old, if the previous screening results are clearly negative and there are no CIN2 or higher-grade lesions, screening can be stopped after the age of 65; women with a history of CIN2, CIN3 or adenocarcinoma in situ should continue screening for 25 years after the lesions disappear naturally or after clinical treatment.

Regular cervical cancer screening is recommended, even if you have received the HPV vaccine. Given the age characteristics of cervical cancer incidence in my country, the recommended starting age for screening is 25 to 30 years old.
