Women have the great mission of giving birth to the next generation, so whether the reproductive function is complete is a topic of concern to many families, including women themselves. Generally speaking, women who have menstruation have the function of ovulating in their ovaries, but they should also be aware that blockage of the fallopian tubes can also cause infertility. Is there any relationship between irregular menstruation and fallopian tubes? After women enter puberty, under the control of gonadotropin-releasing hormone in the hypothalamus, the anterior pituitary gland secretes follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and a small amount of luteinizing hormone (LH) to promote the maturation of ovarian follicles and begin to secrete estrogen. Under the action of estrogen, proliferative changes occur in the uterine periosteum; estrogen and progesterone levels decrease. The endometrium loses the support of these two hormones and begins to peel off and bleed, which is menstruation, and has nothing to do with the fallopian tubes. There is no direct correlation between female fallopian tube blockage and menstruation. Menstruation is not discharged from the fallopian tube. Its cyclical changes are based on hormone regulation, and this activity does not rely on the function of the fallopian tube. Therefore, when the fallopian tube is blocked, it does not affect the normal arrival of menstruation, and it will not affect the ovulation after menstruation. It only hinders the egg from entering the uterus. However, women with blocked fallopian tubes may experience increased menstrual flow. What are the symptoms of fallopian tube obstruction? There are no obvious symptoms of fallopian tube blockage. The most obvious symptom is infertility. Some patients with hydrops at the fallopian tube fimbria experience chronic abdominal pain. Lower abdominal pain is only felt when the fallopian tubes are inflamed. Some patients with fallopian tube obstruction will experience symptoms such as pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen, a feeling of heaviness, excessive secretions, and low back pain. The amount of blood increases during menstruation, but it is easy to confuse them with other diseases. Most cases of fallopian tube obstruction are secondary to infection, particularly pelvic inflammatory disease. Ovarian inflammation can be caused by not paying attention to menstrual hygiene and personal hygiene, decreased body resistance after full-term delivery or natural or artificial abortion, and the bacteria ascend through the vagina and uterus and spread to the fallopian tubes and ovaries, causing ovarian inflammation. Tubal infertility is very common in clinical practice. There are currently many ways to treat fallopian tubes. The more commonly used treatments include conservative treatment, special drug therapy, physical therapy and surgical treatment. |
