The "Guidelines" pointed out that according to actual needs and local conditions, primary and secondary schools and kindergartens should carry out appropriate antigen or nucleic acid tests such as screening, rotational testing, and random testing for teachers and students, and teachers and students will no longer need to provide nucleic acid certificates when entering and leaving the school.

The Beijing Municipal Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens New Coronavirus Infection Prevention and Control Work Guidelines proposes that primary and secondary school students should adhere to the scientific wearing of masks while in school, and kindergarten children should not wear masks while in the park. When the epidemic is not prevalent, non-school personnel entering the school will no longer be required to check nucleic acid certificates. When the epidemic is prevalent or serious, the school may check the nucleic acid certificates or antigen test results of non-school personnel as appropriate.
