According to recent news, vivo's Chief Operating Officer Hu Bashan said in an interview during the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan that vivo plans to increase the proportion of sales in overseas markets to 70% of total revenue within two years. He revealed that currently more than half of vivo's sales come from outside of China, and this proportion is expected to grow to 60% next year and reach around 70% by 2027. Hu Bashan emphasized: "For vivo, the future is definitely in the overseas market." In overseas markets, vivo will focus on Southeast Asia and other regions. Hu Bashan said that in India, vivo's largest overseas market, the company will focus on selling more high-end devices priced over US$600. In markets such as the Philippines and Indonesia, vivo is still working to expand sales. According to Canalys data, vivo's market share in Southeast Asia continues to expand, ranking first in Indonesia and second in Malaysia. Hu said he would not set specific growth targets for each market because they were difficult to measure. |
