WeChat data: More than 25% of users pin “File Transfer Assistant” to their top posts, and 80% of users pin no more than 5 chats to their top posts

Have you ever noticed what you pinned on WeChat? Recently, WeChat officials shared some interesting data about WeChat pinning, which has attracted the attention and thinking of many people. According to user surveys, more than a quarter of WeChat users are pinning "File Transfer Assistant" on their WeChat. Moreover, a very interesting phenomenon is that the fewer users pin their WeChat apps, the more likely they are to pin "File Transfer Assistant" on their WeChat apps.

This seemingly ordinary "assistant" actually has extraordinary functions. It can transfer files and make collections, which is convenient for us to save and transmit important information at any time; it can also be used as a tree hole and a diary, becoming a small place for us to confide our inner secrets.

It is always in the most conspicuous position in the WeChat chat interface. If we simply call it an "assistant", it really underestimates its important position in our WeChat social world.

Looking at the overall pinning situation, about four-fifths of WeChat users have no more than five pinned items. They usually leave the pinned items to their family and close friends, because these people play a vital role in our lives, and we hope to be the first to pay attention to the interactive messages with them.

Another group of users have different preferences for pinning chat groups. More than one-fifth of WeChat users have pinned more than five work chat groups, and users aged 25-40 are particularly prominent, with the largest number of pinned work chat groups.

Some people will reserve the most important position in their WeChat for themselves. They will create a few "groups", for example, to remind themselves to "go to bed early", using this unique way to urge themselves to develop healthy living habits; or save a few frequently used URLs and check them on the computer after getting home from get off work, which is convenient and practical.

It is worth mentioning that more than half of WeChat users believe that pinning WeChat messages reflects their recent life status. By pinning chat partners, they seem to feel closer to them.
