Google Play Store's best games list for 2023

As the year comes to an end, many game awards are underway. Google is one of the first companies to make its annual awards public. The company recently announced the Google Play 2023 Best of Year Awards for games and apps. Games that won awards in different categories include "Honkai Impact 3rd", which beat out works such as "Final Fantasy 7: Eternal Crisis" to win the "Best Story Game"; "Pokémon Sleep" won the "Best Charity Game". The only award selected by players, "User Choice Game", was awarded to "Monopoly Go", which was very popular after its release.

In terms of applications, the controversial OpenAI artificial intelligence application ChatGPT won the "User Choice Application" and "Best Artificial Intelligence" awards.
