IDC: iPhone 13 is the world's best-selling smartphone in Q1 2022

According to the latest statistics released by IDC, the iPhone 13 series still dominates the market in the first quarter of 2022. Among the top five seats, Apple's iPhone 13 series occupies 3 seats, with iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro ranking first, second and fourth respectively.

Given that the iPhone 13 is very attractive in terms of pricing, performance, and features, it has become the first choice for many users. Foreign technology media WccFetch believes that if the iPhone 13 Pro Max is slightly cheaper, it may take the top spot.

It’s not surprising that we see the iPhone 13 mini not appearing here, as most consumers don’t covet small smartphones because they compromise on many features, which leads to lower sales. This is also an important reason why there is no mini in the iPhone 14 series launched this year.

Samsung, Apple's biggest rival in the smartphone space, does not have any Galaxy S22 members in the top five list. However, the South Korean giant does have two entry-level models on the list, namely the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A32.

It is worth mentioning that the iPhone 13 series was launched as early as 2021, while the Galaxy S22 series was realized in February 2022, so this comparison is not fair because Apple's flagship products have enough time to mature and sell well worldwide.
