Strategy Analytics: realme Number series cumulative shipments reached 40.6 million units

Strategy Analytics pointed out that realme's Number series ranked fourth in the "New Era Smartphone Family" ranking, with cumulative shipments of 40.6 million units. The "New Era Smartphone Family" mainly focuses on mobile phone series launched since 2018.

SA further noted: “Realme’s Number series was the phone line that initially led Realme’s foray into the smartphone market in 2018. Realme became the fastest brand in the world to reach 100 million cumulative smartphone shipments in just 37 months after its launch, and its Number series products have been at the core of achieving this milestone.”

It is reported that as of Q3 2021, the cumulative shipments of realme Number series ranked fourth in the ranking of 'new era smartphone families'. In realme's Number series, realme 5 is still the iteration with the best cumulative shipments since its release in Q3 2019 - its total shipments were 12 million units throughout the product cycle.

SA believes that realme has begun to implement a large-scale geo-diversification strategy since 2021. Its Number series, with its cost-effective 5G support, improved camera and screen functionality, is expected to once again play a key role in the promotion in multiple countries and the acceptance of a diverse audience.
