Counterpoint: Global smartwatch shipment market share data in Q1 2019

Counterpoint Technology Market Research, a global market research company, recently published a research report on global smartwatch shipments in the first quarter. The report shows that global smartwatch shipments increased by 48% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2019, with Apple Watch accounting for one-third of the total growth.

In the first quarter of 2019, Apple's Apple Watch shipments increased by 49% year-on-year, accounting for 35.8% of the market share. Although the increase was only 0.3% compared with last year, Apple Watch still dominates the smartwatch field.
