About Zhang Huaping:

Dr. Zhang Huaping is the director of the Big Data Search and Mining Laboratory of Beijing Institute of Technology, an associate professor, a graduate tutor, the founder of the well-known Chinese word segmentation system ICTCLAS, the executive director of the Big Data Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (in preparation), the chairman of the 3rd National Social Media Processing Conference, a member of the YOCSEF and Popularization Working Committee of the Computer Society of China, a standing member of the Social Media Processing Professional Committee of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China, and a visiting professor of Capital Normal University and Liaoning Normal University. His research interests include: big data search and mining, natural language processing, and social networks.
