The 20 best-rated iOS and Android games

The Quality Index (Qi) recently released new quarterly data.

The index does not use operating profit, DAU data, and operating conditions. Qi lists the 20 most critically acclaimed iOS and Android games released between January 1 and March 31, 2013.

The Quality Index is based on more than 650,000 user reviews of iPhone, iPad and Android games from sites including 148Apps, Slide To Play, Pocket Gamer and AppSpy.

In the iPhone Qi Index ranking for the first quarter of 2013, Ridiculous Fishing launched by Valambeer ranked first.

Sports games began to decline in popularity, with Super Stickman Golf 2 from Noodlecake Studios ranking tenth.

Joe Danger ranked third.

In the past three months, the trend of iPhone game releases has been an increase in classic games plus RPG-style games.

Nimble Quest ranked 11th, and Dungelot from Red Winter Software also performed well.

In the iPad rankings, Ridiculous Fishing still ranks first in the praise list, and the popularity of word puzzle games has also increased. Semi Secret's Hundreds ranks second, and Word Soup launched by Fuzzy Bug ranks fourth. In addition, many new games have appeared in the iPad list, and adventure action strategy games have begun to enter the rankings, such as Block Fortress ranked 17th.

In the Android rankings, strategy game Neuroshima Hex became the most popular Android game. High-quality puzzle games have also increased their position in the Android rankings in the past quarter, with 3 of them being puzzle games. Parkour games have declined in popularity, with Temple Run 2 dropping to 20th place.
