Rib pain under right breast

Rib pain under right breast

The breast is a woman's lactating organ, located in the fourth intercostal space on the center line of the neck, above the second rib, with the outer edge close to the fifth rib, on both sides of the chest, one above and one below, of different sizes. Generally, during puberty, due to the increase of estrogen in women's bodies, their breasts will gradually bulge into a hemispherical shape, and the nipples will be cylindrical, with a light pink color at the base, which is commonly known as nipples.

Most normal breasts are composed of fat, which is a soft tissue that is not prone to pain and has no lumps when touched. However, some women experience breast pain, and the pain point is mostly under the breast. Most women do not know the exact cause of breast pain, which has a great impact on their study and daily life, causing distress and anxiety. The following is a detailed description of the cause of pain under the breast.

Causes of pain under the breast include:

1. Often wear inappropriate bras. For example, when buying bras, choose bras with smaller sizes, which will squeeze the breasts when worn, causing local tissue damage and breast pain.

2. Long-term neglect of nipple care causes local skin to be infected by bacteria and causes inflammation, resulting in papillitis.

3. Long-term poor lifestyle, such as staying up late, smoking and drinking frequently, and liking to eat spicy foods, can cause endocrine disorders in the body and lead to breast hyperplasia.

4. Premenstrual syndrome is mostly caused by the balance of female hormones in the body, especially the increase of estrogen, which causes temporary swelling and pain in the breasts. However, this condition will disappear after the menstrual period arrives, or it will disappear slowly.

The breasts are an important part of the female body. If pain occurs, no matter what the reason is, it is recommended to go to the breast department of a local reliable hospital immediately for medical treatment, and conduct breast B-ultrasound, estrogen and other tests. If the test results are abnormal, seek treatment as soon as possible to benefit your health.
