Flurry: Survey shows Android guys are more romantic than iPhone guys?

Valentine's Day has just passed, and there should be many infatuated men and women who are actively participating in dating activities, and smartphones have also led to the rise of many dating apps. A survey from Flurry shows that among Android and iPhone users before Valentine's Day, who prefers to use dating apps to find true love in the crowd?

Men have a higher desire to make friends!

Flurry Market Research conducted a survey on dating apps in January, collecting data from 17 million users of 20 popular dating apps. First of all, regardless of Android or iOS system, the data showed that men love this type of dating app more than women, with 64% of them being men and only 36% being women.

Men are more enthusiastic about dating apps than girls. 64% of them are men, while women only account for 36%. Boys are more active in making friends than girls.

If we further calculate the 17 million users based on their mobile phone systems, we can find that men using Android systems account for as high as 66% of the dating apps, but the ratio of men and women using iPhone systems is closer, at 45% for women and 55% for men.

The proportion of Android males using dating apps is as high as 66%, which is 11% higher than that of iPhone males.

Finally, from the perspective of age distribution, young people are equally likely to use Android or iOS systems. Interestingly, among iPhone users, most are fathers or grandfathers over 55 years old! This is probably related to the more intuitive design of the iPhone. No wonder young people abroad think that the iPhone is not trendy enough.

Among age groups, Android users aged 18-24 are 4% more than iOS users, Android users aged 25-34 are 2% less than iOS users, Android users aged 35-54 are 1% less than iOS users, and finally, Android users aged 55 and above are 3% more than iOS users.

Want to make friends, are you heading in the right direction?

In fact, from the above infographic, we can see that dating apps are less attractive to women, because there are more female users on online social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. This phenomenon makes people wonder if men are looking for a female confidant in the wrong direction? Because they are blindly looking for a possible "her" in a social circle where "males are more popular than females"? In this case, aren't the chances very few?
