Exane BNP Paribas: Survey shows European consumers are not interested in Nokia's WP smartphone Lumia

According to foreign media reports, Exane BNP Paribas, the securities division of BNP Paribas, released a survey report on Friday local time, saying that European consumers are not interested in Lumia, the first Windows Phone smartphone launched by Nokia. Alexander Peterc, an analyst at Exane BNP Paribas, said in the report, "Only 2.2% of the respondents have a definite intention to buy Lumia, which is much lower than Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S II."

Exane BNP Paribas lowered its Lumia sales forecast for this quarter from an initial 2 million units to 800,000 units. Nokia's previous flagship phone, the N8, sold 3.5 million to 4 million units in the first quarter of its release.

Exane BNP Paribas lowered Nokia's target share price from 3.7 euros (about 30.59 yuan) to 3.3 euros (about 27.29 yuan) and maintained its "underperform" rating on Nokia's stock.
