According to CNZZ statistics, in January 2012 , the average number of sites visited by visitors per day in the social networking industry (referred to as: industry site number) was 615 , a decrease of 2.97% from December 2011 , a decrease of 6.12% from January last year, and a decrease of 2.58% from February last year when the Spring Festival fell. However, in January , the average number of netizens who visited industry sites in the social networking industry per day (referred to as: industry visitor number) was 79.19 million, which showed a certain decline, a decrease of 5.16% from the previous month, a slight decrease of 0.41% from the same period last year, and an increase of 11.9% from February last year.

If we exclude the seven- day Spring Festival holiday from January 22 to 28 , we can see that the number of web game industry sites in January 2012 was 630 , a decrease of 0.61% compared with December last year and a decrease of 3.84% compared with January last year; the change in the number of industry visitors was different, basically the same as last month, but an increase of 4.93% year-on-year.

In recent years, the concentration of the domestic SNS industry has become increasingly higher. In particular, the widespread use of universal accounts has led to an increasing concentration of users on a few top social networking sites. A large number of social networking sites built on the basis of existing forums, blogs and other websites are struggling to survive and can only rely on the original business to deliver a small amount of traffic, but it is difficult for them to become boosters of the original business.

Although the number of industry operators is decreasing, the user scale of the SNS industry is still growing, which shows that despite the strong impact of Weibo, SNS still maintains a certain appeal.

Facebook will be officially listed this year. Currently, many domestic and foreign SNS websites have been listed, with different performances. The top domestic SNS are also integrating, attempting to create a domestic version of Facebook through a strong combination.
