Real picture of the fetus at ten weeks of pregnancy

As the number of weeks of pregnancy progresses, the fetus will continue to grow, so the size of the fetus will continue to change every week. Due to the influence of the physical condition of the pregnant mother, the growth and development of each fetus will also be different. In order to better judge whether the fetus is growing and developing normally, many pregnant mothers want to know how big the fetus is at ten weeks of pregnancy, and whether there is a size standard to refer to.

The fetus is about 4cm long and weighs about 13g. All parts of the human body have long been perfected, and all internal organs have been produced. The fetal head accounts for about half of the total body length. Wrists and ankles are growing and developing and are clearly visible. Embryonic prototype is produced. B-ultrasound showed that the gestational sac had begun to shrink, and the crescent-shaped embryo was visible, and the fetus was active in the amniotic fluid of the pregnant woman. In the next 3 weeks, the length of the fetus will double to nearly 10cm.

The basic cell structure of the fetus has been formed, and all parts of the body have been completed, including arms, legs, eyes, sex organs and other organs. However, these organs are still in the development process and have not yet fully grown and matured.

The fetus's brain, eyes, mouth, ears, digestive tract, hands, and feet begin to grow and develop. The head looks particularly large in the whole body, almost accounting for most of the body length. The cheeks, jaw, upper eyelids and earlobes have grown and formed, and the face looks more like a face. The little tail has completely disappeared, and the eyes, fingers and toes are clearly visible.

Because the skin of the fetus is transparent, the formed liver, ribs and subcutaneous blood vessels can be clearly seen through the skin, and the heart, liver, and intestines are more developed.

When you reach the tenth week of pregnancy, pregnant mothers should remember to carry out the first prenatal check-up, which will help doctors understand the various conditions of the pregnant woman's body and detect various factors that affect pregnancy and delivery as early as possible, so as to ensure the safety and health of the pregnant woman and the fetus. Finally, in the early stages of pregnancy, affected by early pregnancy symptoms, pregnant women should pay attention to increasing nutritional supplements, which can be beneficial to the development of the fetus.
