A series of discussions on kidney-tonifying and anti-aging: Waist and leg aging are not exclusive to the elderly

Usually, people's muscles and bones are most developed when they are around 30 years old. After the age of 35, the skeletal muscle content begins to decline. When people reach their 60s or 70s, the muscles throughout the body become loose and the bone density decreases, making them prone to problems such as "brittle bones", "bone pain" and "osteoporosis".

When people reach middle age, their waist and legs age first

Anyone who has studied painting knows that the bones and muscles of the human body complement each other. The bones are the overall support, while the muscles make the body volumetric and protect the bones. Increasing muscle content can not only improve body stability, but also resist aging and strengthen the body's metabolic level.

However, as we age, we lose muscle and strength, and our bones begin to lose strength and toughness. Data show that bone density increases before the age of 25, but after the age of 35, bone loss gradually exceeds supply, and bones that lack "replenishment" become fragile. Without adequate nutritional intervention and exercise, muscle decomposition will accelerate. According to research statistics, after the age of 35, muscle mass decreases by 1%-2% year by year. After the age of 80, the body's muscle content will decrease by 30% compared to when it was young.

The aging of bones and muscles first manifests itself in the waist and legs of the human body. The waist is called the "backbone of the human body" and plays a connecting role. Its importance is self-evident. However, bad living habits such as excessive force on the waist for a long time, incorrect body position and posture, sitting for a long time, wearing high heels for a long time, obesity, etc. will aggravate the wear of the lumbar spine. As people age, the strength of the waist muscles becomes weaker and weaker, and lumbar muscle strain is prone to occur, which increases the instability of the lumbar spine and accelerates the aging of the waist, causing people's waist to age prematurely.

Legs are the first to sense "aging signals" as they are important parts that support the human body to walk upright. Various symptoms such as stiff legs and feet, weakness, joint pain, cold legs, etc., are all reminders that our legs are aging. The osteoporosis, fractures, and bone cracks that the elderly are most afraid of are also more reflected in the problem of bone aging. Therefore, in order to prevent bone loss and reduce life and health risks, attention should be paid to bone and muscle aging as soon as possible for prevention and treatment.
