A high school girl hasn't had her period for half a year

Menstruation is a weather chart of the female urinary system. Whether menstruation is normal is a very important issue for women. If you are a woman who has not had your period for more than half a year, then you definitely have secondary amenorrhea. So, what is the reason why high school girls have not had their periods for half a year?

1. Pituitary gland causes

It is called pituitary amenorrhea. The pituitary gland is located directly below the human brain. It is small in size, but it controls the endocrine organs of the whole body. When the function of the pituitary gland changes, the ovaries shrink. Common pituitary diseases are tumors and hypopituitarism.

2. Causes of central nervous system

The central nervous system includes the human brain and hypothalamus-pituitary gland, which control the activities of the pituitary gland and indirectly control the ovaries. When the nerve center is over-stressed, the ovaries change and cause amenorrhea. If you suffer from a broken heart, loss of family, or failure at work, you may suddenly experience amenorrhea. Hypothalamic pituitary tumors can also cause amenorrhea.

3. Uterine and ovarian causes

Also called ovarian amenorrhea. Normal menstruation occurs. The reason why women do not have menstruation is that the hormones metabolized by the uterus and ovaries act on the uterine wall, causing it to change, and then fall off and bleed. If the uterus and ovaries cannot secrete growth hormone, the uterine wall will not change and the menstrual period will naturally stop, such as congenital uterine and ovarian hypoplasia, premature ovarian failure, etc. This type of amenorrhea is often accompanied by a decline in female characteristics, such as flat breasts.

4. Causes of uterine uterus

Also called uterine amenorrhea. The reason why women do not have menstruation is amenorrhea caused by problems with the uterus, such as congenital absence of the uterus, incomplete uterine development, or childhood diseases that invade the uterine wall, causing adhesions or scars. Although the ovaries are very good and female characteristics develop normally, there is no menstruation. If a girl becomes ill after her menarche, such as uterine wall tuberculosis, uterine wall schistosomiasis, uterine wall suppuration, or when the dermis of the uterine wall is scraped off during curettage, she will not be able to respond to uterine and ovarian growth hormone and develop secondary amenorrhea.
