Leucorrhea before period is like paste

Leucorrhea before period is like paste

If the leucorrhea is like paste before menstruation, and there is no performance of vulvar itching and odor, it is often considered that it is caused by the stimulation of estrogen and progesterone, which also indicates that the menstruation is coming. In addition, after pregnancy, due to the continued influence of high-quality estrogen and progesterone, this type of paste-like secretion will also appear. If there is a sticky discharge, accompanied by a foul odor and itchy, burning and painful vulva, then it should be considered that the symptom of candidal vaginitis is caused by the growth of fungi due to the imbalance of vaginal intestinal flora.

Leucorrhea is like paste and is generally a common change in female secretions after ovulation. After a girl ovulates, the metabolism of cervical mucus is affected by estrogen, and the amount of cervical mucus gradually decreases. The texture of the cervical mucus becomes viscous and turbid, with poor metallic drawing quality, and is very easy to break. When doing acid-fast staining examination, the crystals gradually become blurred and completely disappear around the 22nd day of the menstrual cycle, replaced by orderly arranged ellipsoids. In clinical medicine, the function of the ovaries can be understood based on the state of cervical mucus to see whether ovulation has occurred. If the cervical mucus shows a pasty change, it is generally common in changes after ovulation. However, it is relatively inaccurate to judge whether there is ovulation based on the cervical mucus.

The secretions of normal women are milky white. Because the production of secretions is affected by female hormones, sometimes it is colorless and transparent, sometimes it is slightly thick, and sometimes it is clear. If the secretion is sticky like paste, it is normal. However, if it is combined with vulvar itching, strong odor of secretion, etc., it may be caused by vaginitis. It is recommended to go to a reliable hospital's gynecology department for medical treatment and confirm whether you have vaginitis through a complete set of relevant examinations.

After diagnosis, it is recommended to go to the hospital under the guidance of a specialist and receive treatment with medication. Different types of vaginitis require different medications. Bacterial vaginitis is mainly treated with metronidazole, while fungal vaginitis is treated with clotrimazole suppositories, Baofukang suppositories and other drugs.
