Do I need an ID card to reserve a mask? What documents do I need to reserve a mask?

We all know that masks are a kind of protective equipment that is in short supply recently. Many people buy masks online. The number of masks is limited, and many places have started to make reservations to buy masks. So do you need an ID card to make a reservation for a mask? Let's take a closer look!

Is ID required for mask reservation?

An ID card is required, and each person (with the same ID card) can only win once within 3 days. Bring your ID card and verification code to the appointment store to buy masks.

① To avoid possible cross-infection caused by excessive gathering of people buying masks, successful winners are requested to purchase and pick up the masks at the designated store at the designated time with their ID card and verification code (screenshots or forwarding of the verification code will be invalid). Products purchased after the deadline will be invalid.

② As the store arranges the supply according to the number of winners, those who have not won the lottery are not allowed to come to the store.

What documents are required to reserve a mask?

Bring your ID card and household registration booklet. If you are renting a property, you need to bring the lease contract. Some places may require a residence permit. Go to the neighborhood committee where you live.

After arriving at the neighborhood committee, you need to queue up to register in turn. Your temperature may be measured and your ID information checked, and then you register according to your building number.

After registration is completed and if you meet the requirements, you will be provided with a mask reservation number, which will contain information about the pharmacy where you can purchase the mask.

You may not be able to buy masks immediately after getting the reservation number. You will be notified to buy masks according to the order of the reservation number. Therefore, it is recommended that you make an appointment as early as possible. One household can buy 5 masks at one time.

Can masks be reused?

Ordinary people's masks can be reused.

For medical staff who are exposed to the virus more often, they need to change their masks every three to four hours, but this is not the case with our current work or going out, so there is no need to change them every three or four hours. That would be a waste. So after using the mask once, you can take it off by the ear rope, and then put it on a sunny and ventilated balcony to dry. After drying, it can still be used once. After it has been used for two or three days or is a little dirty or deformed, you can change it, but there is no need to clean it. This cleaning is useless.

When should you change your mask?

When the following situations occur, the mask should be replaced in time:

1. When respiratory impedance increases significantly;

2. When the mask is torn or damaged;

3. When the mask cannot fit tightly to the face;

4. The mask is contaminated (such as blood stains or droplets);

5. Used in individual wards or in contact with patients (because the mask is contaminated);
