1. Materials

1 kg of beef short ribs, 200 g of radish, 1 handful of vermicelli, 10 jujubes, 4 g of water ginseng root, 2 scallions, 5 garlic cloves, 1 tsp of minced ginger, 0.5 onion, 1 egg, 2 tsp of Korean soup soy sauce, some salt and some pepper.

(1) Place the prepared beef ribs, onions, scallions, and garlic in a pot of appropriate size. Cook over high heat first. When bubbles start to rise, adjust the heat to medium. Because the beef rib soup requires the bones to be cooked, it is better to simmer over a lower heat for a longer time.

(2) When the beef ribs have been cooked for a while, poke the beef with chopsticks. If you think it is cooked, take out the beef ribs and let it cool. When the soup has cooled sufficiently, solid butter will appear on the top. Use gauze to drain the butter and onion and garlic residue, leaving only the clear soup.

(3) After removing the butter, continue to stew the beef ribs over medium heat.
