Urine protein during pregnancy 1 plus sign

Urine protein during pregnancy 1 plus sign

Proteinuria is very dangerous. It is recommended to rinse it with cold water before testing urine, otherwise it may be secretions. If there is still a minus sign after cleaning, surgery should be performed immediately. So, what should you do if you have a minus sign of proteinuria during pregnancy?

Small amounts of proteinuria may also occur during pregnancy. If the proteinuria test is positive, further examination or re-examination is required. Continuous positive results, especially with a large number of negative signs, may indicate the patient is suffering from acute or chronic nephritis, pyelonephritis, renal tuberculosis, renal tumors, nephrotic syndrome caused by various reasons, specific lupus erythematosus, diabetic nephropathy, urinary system diseases, abnormal excretion reactions after kidney transplantation, etc. The occurrence of proteinuria may also be caused by some pathological reactions, such as high fever, hypertension, cystitis, urethritis, tumors, myeloma, transfusion reactions, etc.

In addition, some physiological factors can also cause transient positive urine protein, such as pregnancy, excessive exercise, cold, stress, posture changes, and rapid growth of adolescents. If the result of a proteinuria measurement is positive, you should pay attention to observation and follow-up, eliminate related physiological factors, and consult a physician or do further tests to clarify the cause of the disease so as to facilitate timely symptomatic treatment.

If the protein content in urine increases, the daily metabolic protein exceeds 150 mg or the protein in every 100 ml of urine reaches 10-20 mg, the urine test will show positive for proteinuria. This is called proteinuria in medicine, and is generally indicated by the number 10. The more 10s there are, the greater the protein content in the urine. Most of them are caused by kidney diseases, such as various tubular diseases, renal vascular diseases, diabetic nephropathy, tubular diseases, and kidney function damage caused by antibiotics.
