Is ovulation painful or painless?

Is ovulation painful or painless?

Women sometimes feel uncomfortable during the ovulation period, which will cause a certain degree of sensory nerves. In particular, many women have lower abdominal pain during the ovulation period, and the pain goes away after the ovulation period. The main reason is that the body's female hormones change during the ovulation period. Sometimes the lower abdomen will feel subtle pain. So is it better to feel pain or not?

Is it better to have painful ovulation or no pain?

Of course it is better if there is no pain, but if there is pain during ovulation, the pain will not be very severe and the pain time will not exceed three days. This does not require special treatment. Pay attention to rest, avoid sitting for a long time, apply hot compress to the lower abdomen, and eat a light diet. If the pain is severe, considering that there may be inflammation, it is recommended to use anti-inflammatory treatment based on B-ultrasound examination.

The difference between ovulation pain and implantation pain

This is actually not something you can feel. Generally, during ovulation, the secretions will increase and may become wire-like, indicating that you are in the ovulation period and can arrange for sexual intercourse. If the embryo is implanted, there may be some needle-like pain in the lower abdomen. The pain during ovulation and implantation is generally not very obvious. The standard for determining whether you are pregnant is still to rely on testing.

How to calculate ovulation period

1. Generally, the ovulation period of a woman with normal menarche will be the 14th day before the next menarche. The key is to push the time before the next menarche forward 14 days to calculate it. The ovulation period, the first 5 days and the last 4 days are called the ovulation period. Here is an example. A woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days. The first day of her menarche is December 2nd, and her menarche is on December 30th. Then December 16th is her ovulation period. The ovulation period, the 5 days before and the 4 days after, which is December 11-20, is the ovulation period. I believe everyone will be very clear now.

2. Of course, the above method is only for women with normal menstruation. If your menstruation is irregular, don't worry. There is another way for you. The ovulation calculation formula is: the first day of ovulation = the number of days in the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days;

The last day of ovulation = the number of days in the maximum menstrual cycle minus 11 days.
