Why do you get adenomyoma?

According to statistics, more and more women are suffering from adenomyosis. How do women get adenomyosis? Adenomyosis is a benign disease with a small chance of progression, but the harm it causes to women cannot be ignored. After suffering from this disease, patients should not be at a loss but seek medical treatment as soon as possible.

Adenomyosis is when the uterine wall invades a certain part of the uterine myometrium, causing the smooth muscle cells in this area to proliferate rapidly and then gradually form a spheroid. Medical doctors figuratively describe it as adenomyosis. Because adenomyosis causes great harm to women's health, medical doctors have summarized some factors that may cause adenomyosis symptoms after years of research and discovery.

Causes of adenomyoma in women

1. Imbalance of body growth hormone. Some women, due to ovarian abnormalities, lead to insufficient hormone secretion, resulting in endocrine imbalance. If it causes excessive proliferation of the uterine wall, it is easy to cause the uterine wall to grow towards the muscle layer, and then the condition of adenomyosis will occur.

2. Abnormal estrogen levels. Women's estrogen also has a great impact on the human body. If the secretion of estrogen is abnormal, it is easy to cause endometriosis or adenomyosis, which will affect women's health.

3. Blockage of the reproductive system. Some women have congenital genital obstruction or acquired surgical effects, which lead to vaginal adhesions, etc., which make it impossible for menstruation to be discharged and accumulate in the uterine cavity, causing the pressure in the uterine cavity to increase and cause the appearance of adenomyosis.

4. Congenital posterior uterus.

Some young single or even infertile patients suffer from adenomyosis because of retroverted uterus and poor menstruation. Because there is a lot of endometrial tissue in the menstrual period, it stays in the uterine cavity for a long time. If accompanied by menstrual pain, the myometrium will contract and the pressure in the uterine cavity will increase. The uterine wall may be disordered to the myometrium.

5. Iatrogenic causes:

1. Curettage and dilatation. Curettage can destroy the dermis of the uterine wall, and the endometrial tissue can penetrate into the myometrium through the zinc oxide oil in the dermis. During the monthly menstrual cycle, it widely invades and multiplies in the myometrium. This multifunctional endometrial tissue can also cause bleeding, forming many blood spots in the myometrium.

2. The contraceptive ring is placed for a long time, and the ring is embedded in the myometrium of the uterus. At the same time, the endometrial tissue is also sent into the myometrium of the uterus to cause uterine adenomyoma.

3. Caesarean section. During a cesarean section, it is easy to send uterine wall tissue to the myometrium and other areas, and some may even cause chocolate cysts at the wound site.
