If you have not taken folic acid when preparing for pregnancy, it is recommended to take folic acid tablets as soon as possible in the first 3 months of pregnancy; if you still have not taken folic acid in the first 3 months of pregnancy, you can go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination to see if the fetus has neural tube defects. If not, it means that it doesn’t matter much if the pregnant mother did not take folic acid tablets before.
