In the past, women had to go to the hospital for diagnosis of pregnancy, but now women do not need to go to the hospital for examination if they want to find out whether they are pregnant. With the emergence of pregnancy test sticks and early pregnancy test papers nowadays, it is very easy for women to check themselves. However, what I want to talk about today is: How to use the pregnancy test strips? I hope this will be helpful to all ladies.

How to use pregnancy test strips

Grasp the proper operation method of early pregnancy test paper:

1. Be sure to read the manual carefully before conducting the test, and collect and restore the test reagents and urine samples to room temperature (20℃-30℃) before use.

2. Remove the test strip from the original aluminum foil packaging bag and use it as soon as possible within 1 hour.

3. Insert the test strip into the urine sample collection hole in the direction of the arrow. Note: The urine level must not exceed the marked line on the test reagent strip.

4. After at least 5 seconds, remove the device and place it on a clean, flat surface to observe the result.

5. Wait for the dark purple band to appear. The test result should be loaded in 3 minutes. Invalid after 10 minutes

Generally speaking, if the early pregnancy test paper is negative, it means you are not pregnant, if it is positive, it means you are pregnant, and if it is a weak positive, it means you may be pregnant. A weak positive means that the test area on the early pregnancy test paper only appears faintly.

1. Even if the early pregnancy test paper shows a weak positive result, it is possible that you are not pregnant. Weak positive results on early pregnancy tests before menstruation are common in clinical medicine. If you are worried, generally wait for about 5 days after the menstrual period, and test the first urine in the morning with a test strip. If the early pregnancy test strip is still weakly positive at this time, the possibility of pregnancy is 90%. If you are still worried at this time, you can go to the hospital for B-ultrasound examination and diagnosis.

2. A weak positive result on an early pregnancy test does not mean 100% pregnancy. Some tumor cells, such as hydatidiform mole, choriocarcinoma, bronchial carcinoma and renal carcinoma, can also metabolize hCG.

3. If the early pregnancy test paper always shows weak positive results, it may be caused by incorrect operation of the early pregnancy test paper. If the operation is confirmed to be correct, but the result of the early pregnancy test paper is weak positive, it may be that the pregnancy has just begun and the hCG level in the body is generally low. It is best to leave the sample to be tested still for more than 3 minutes, and be sure to carefully distinguish whether it is a weak positive.

Many early pregnancy test strips indicate that women can take a pregnancy test one day after missing their normal menstrual period. In fact, the rate and amount of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) secreted by pregnant women are not necessarily the same, which varies from person to person. If you have to do a urine test, the results you get may be inaccurate. Therefore, it is best to do a pregnancy test half a month after your period is delayed, so that the result will be more reliable.
