Is it difficult to get pregnant with blood type O and B?

Pregnancy is easy for some people and very difficult for others. Some women are pregnant, but the baby is deformed or has congenital diseases, which is a heavy blow to the baby and the family. Therefore, those who are planning to get pregnant should do a pre-marital physical examination to avoid the occurrence of various diseases. In addition, it should be noted that when a couple with type B blood and type O blood becomes pregnant, neonatal hemolytic disease may occur.

B blood type and O blood type couple conceive

Couples with blood types O and B may have neonatal hemolytic disease, so please check carefully. Hemolytic disease of the newborn is a major culprit that harms the health of newborns. It generally refers to a type of disease in which antigens in the mother's blood enter the newborn's blood circulation system and destroy the newborn's blood cells due to the inconsistency of the blood types of the mother and baby, causing hemolytic anemia. The clinical manifestations are jaundice, and in severe cases, there is significant edema and anemia at birth.

This disease is mainly a genetic disease caused by the blood type discrepancy between mother and child, which leads to the same blood type immune reaction. The dominant antigen inherited by the fetus from the new level gene of the parents is exactly what the mother lacks. This antigen invades the pregnant mother, causing antibodies to enter the fetal blood circulation through the embryonic hcg and agglutinate with the fetal blood cells, destroying them and causing hemolysis, resulting in anemia, edema, splenomegaly, and idiopathic moderate to severe jaundice shortly after birth, and even bilirubin encephalopathy.

Mild cases can be cured quickly by simply supplementing glucose without any special treatment. In extremely severe cases, immediate treatment after birth can quickly improve the condition and the children will grow up to be no different from normal babies. Patients with early-stage bilirubin encephalopathy may still be cured after liver transplantation, but patients in the late stage often have complications and systemic edema, and their chances of success are slim even with active treatment.

How to judge whether you are pregnant can be understood from the early symptoms of pregnancy

Symptom 1: Amenorrhea

Amenorrhea is the first and most important "data signal" in early pregnancy. For married pregnant women with normal menstrual cycles, if the menstrual period is delayed for more than 10 days, they should consider the possibility of pregnancy. If the menstruation is amenorrhea for more than 2 weeks, they should go to the hospital to check the cause.

Symptom 2: Early pregnancy reaction

Most women may experience dizziness, fatigue, constant sleepiness, increased saliva secretion, poor appetite, nausea and retching after 6 weeks of pregnancy. Vomiting often occurs in the morning or on an empty stomach. Some pregnant women like acidic, alkaline and cold foods very much. The above-mentioned phenomenon is called early pregnancy reaction, which usually disappears on its own in about 12 weeks of pregnancy. For a small number of people, early pregnancy reactions are severe and last longer.

Symptom 3: Increased urination frequency

After 8 weeks of pregnancy, you may experience increased urination frequency because the enlarged uterus compresses and irritates the bladder. After 12 weeks of pregnancy, the uterus exceeds the pelvis, the bladder is no longer oppressed and irritated, and the symptoms of frequent urination are relieved spontaneously.

Symptom 4: Breast changes

During pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of female hormones and estrogen, starting from the 8th week, the breasts gradually grow larger, the color of the nipples and nipples darkens, and there are dark red lumps around the nipples. After 12 weeks, a small amount of cold watery milk will continue to be secreted.

Symptom 5: Changes in body temperature during ovulation

Women who accurately measure their body temperature during ovulation can thus understand early pregnancy. A woman's normal ovulation body temperature shows a double curve, that is, it is low before ovulation and rises after ovulation. If the menstruation comes at the end of the menstrual period, the body temperature will not drop after rising and will remain at a level of more than 18 days, which indicates that she is pregnant.
