Women's annual physical examination items

Women's annual physical examination items

For women who do not have sex, the annual routine physical examination items mainly include ultrasound of the uterus, appendages, and liver, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen. At the same time, blood tests are also required to check blood routine, coagulation function, liver and kidney function, as well as a complete set of examinations before intravenous injection. However, if a woman has been living a normal life and has had sexual intercourse for more than one year, in addition to the basic examination items, it is recommended to do cervical TCT and HPV screening every year to rule out cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer. If the results are negative for three consecutive years, she can do the test every other year.

1. Bone density test

(1) Why is this inspection necessary?

There are more and more people suffering from osteoporosis in our country, and 80% of the patients are women. This shows that women are the key targets of this disease.

(2) When is the best time to have the examination?

It is recommended that women lose about 30% of their bone mass in the 6 to 7 years after menopause. If a postmenopausal woman weighs less than 57KG, has a history of smoking, has experienced non-traumatic fractures in adulthood, or has a family history of genetic diseases, she must do this test and do preventive work as soon as possible.

(3) What is the practical significance of the inspection results?

If the test data shows that you have osteoporosis, your doctor will recommend that you consume enough high-quality protein every day and exercise regularly.

2. Clinical Breast Examination and Mammography

(1) Why is this inspection necessary?

Women's breasts can develop many diseases, and these two tests can help detect whether they have breast cancer. After the test, women will not have any problems for about 5 years.

(2) When is the best time to check?

Women need to start this examination when they are adults, around the age of 20, and clinical breast examinations can be performed at this time. For women over 40, it is recommended to have a breast X-ray once a year, especially after the menstrual period when the breasts are still relatively firm.

(3) What is the practical significance of the inspection results?

The examination can effectively detect various breast diseases, and those without symptoms are of course the best. If there are symptoms, they can be detected and treated as early as possible.
