Regular menstrual cycle for 20 days

Regular menstrual cycle for 20 days

Different women have different menstrual cycles. In clinical medicine, some women have shorter menstrual cycles, but some women have longer menstrual cycles. This is very confusing for women regarding menstrual cycles. So is a menstrual cycle of 20 days normal?

Under normal circumstances, the normal menstrual cycle is 28 days, and a week early or late is normal. Because every body is different, it is normal if you have a regular cycle. If your menstrual cycle has always been 20 days, it is normal. If your normal menstrual cycle is not 20 days and suddenly becomes 20 days, it is recommended to go to the hospital to check your female hormones and do gynecological color ultrasound. In addition, whether the menstrual period is normal or not depends not only on the cycle time, but also on the amount and quality of the menstrual flow.

What are the normal menstrual periods?

1. Menstrual period: The period of vaginal bleeding is called the menstrual period. Most people's menstrual period lasts 3-5 days, but as little as 1-2 days and as much as 7-8 days is also within the normal range.

2. Menstrual cycle: The period from the first day of menarche to the first day of the next menarche is called a menstrual cycle. Most people have a cycle between 28-35 days, but a few have a cycle as short as 20 days or nearly 45 days. Within the above range, as long as the menstrual period is regular, it is normal.

3. Characteristics of menstrual blood: The characteristics of menstrual blood are not coagulation, but dark red in color. In addition to blood, menstrual blood also contains fragments of the uterine wall, cervical mucus, and squamous epithelial cells in the vagina.

4. Menstrual blood volume: The normal menstrual blood volume is 20-120ml, mostly 50ml, with the highest volume on the second or third day of menarche, and then gradually decreases. Normal menstruation is a manifestation of normal development and perfect function of female internal reproductive organs.

5. Symptoms during menstruation: Most women have no obvious symptoms during menstruation, but a few may experience breast swelling, headache, insomnia, panic, lower abdominal pain, and restlessness.

In short, medicine has made a precise measurement, 30ml of menstrual volume is considered low, and 80ml is high. The normal amount should be 60ml each time. However, since we can't measure it normally, sanitary napkins can help. Normally, they should be changed four or five times a day, and each cycle should not exceed a few packs.
