Female vagina and urethra

Many girls do not understand the physiological state of their bodies, and do not know that the vagina and urethra of women are actually separate. Many girls even as adults still do not know this and think that the vagina and urethra are a safe passage. In fact, there are significant differences between the two, they are not in the same position. The vagina is located backwards and is relatively large, and we can insert our fingers into it. The urethral opening is located forward and relatively small.

How to self-examine and confirm the vagina and urethra? You can try it yourself: Lie on your back on the bed with your legs open.

Inside the vagina: Under the mons pubis (the area where the male pubic hair is located), if you pull apart the labia majora and minora, you will see two holes (small and large) under the clitoris (the intersection of the two labia minora, which is the female sexual sensitive area) in the vestibule function. The smaller one at the top is the urethral opening; the larger one at the bottom is the vaginal opening.

Urethral opening: The urethral opening is located above the vulva and directly below the clitoris. There is a small round hole, which is the opening of the urethral opening. The female urethra is very short. It is connected to the bladder, above the vagina, and parallel to the vagina. It is divided into the internal urethral opening and the external urethral opening, each of which has multiple narrowings of the urethral opening (three places in total: the external urethral opening, the internal urethral opening and the pelvic diaphragm). There is a small round hole above the vulva and just below the clitoris, which is the opening of the urethral opening.

You can also find a suitable way to observe yourself in front of the mirror. Knowing your own physiological characteristics is the basic thing that every woman should do. Don't confuse the vagina with the urethra.
