1st degree cervical erosion discharge diagram

Although cervical erosion is a common physiological phenomenon among women, when it occurs together with gynecological diseases such as cervicitis, it will have a certain impact on women's reproductive health. Therefore, it is necessary to learn more about it and then use medication to treat it. Let's analyze below, what are the symptoms of first-degree cervical erosion?

When cervical erosion once clears dark brown discharge, the first thing to consider is that it is caused by bleeding on the erosion surface. It is recommended that further examination should be done, and cervical TCT examination or HPV test can be chosen to eliminate the possibility of lesions. In addition, you should also consider whether you have other diseases, such as cervical cysts, uterine polyps, or endometriosis, which can cause brown discharge from the vagina. Therefore, further examinations are required, including hysteroscopy, color Doppler ultrasound and electronic colposcopy.

Most cases of grade 1 cervical erosion have no obvious symptoms or mild symptoms such as female secretions. Cervical erosion is mostly caused by increased estrogen levels in women's bodies, which leads to disordered changes in the proliferation of columnar epithelial cells in the cervical canal. First-degree cervical erosion is mostly caused by factors such as sexual life, pregnancy and childbirth, which cause the originally smooth epithelial cells to change into an eroded, rough, granular surface. Since it does not actually cause erosion, most of the time there are no obvious symptoms or mild symptoms such as excessive secretions.

However, due to the differences in women's physical constitutions, and the fact that cervical erosion may be accompanied by symptoms such as cervicitis, some women with first-degree cervical erosion are affected by gynecological diseases and experience symptoms such as lower abdominal pain after intercourse, non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina, excessive leucorrhea, and foul odor. They can be treated with endogenous anti-infective drugs or oral antibiotics.

It should be noted that cervical erosion generally does not cause great harm to women's reproductive health, but because it often occurs in combination with infectious gynecological diseases, women are advised to undergo regular gynecological examinations to eliminate and promptly treat possible cervicitis, cervical cancer and other diseases.
