What is the meaning of wbc in gynecology

Gynecological examination is a prerequisite for ensuring physical and mental health. Various gynecological diseases increase every year, and many of them have already become chronic or terminal when they are discovered. Therefore, experts recommend that female friends can have regular physical examinations every year. So, what is gynecological WBC? Let me share some professional knowledge in this area below, hoping to help you.

The routine examination of leucorrhea (WBC) refers to the white blood cell count in the secretions. This mainly depends on whether there is bacterial infection. Normally, this cannot be seen in the interior of the car. If there is in WBC, it means there is bacterial infection and needs to be treated.

In gynecological examinations, routine examinations of leucorrhea are common, and its abnormality may indicate the occurrence of vaginitis. So, what gynecological diseases can be detected by checking secretions? Doctors emphasize that women can detect the following gynecological diseases by checking secretions:

1. Cervical erosion: The secretions of cervical erosion are generally slightly yellow, sticky like pus, and generally odorless. This disease is caused by the different degrees of inflammatory stimulation to the cervix. The columnar epithelial cells in the cervical mucosa grow slowly, the epithelial cells are smooth, and the surface is smooth, which is simple erosion; the columnar epithelial cells grow faster, and when glandular hyperplasia occurs, it is adenoid erosion.

2. Fungal vaginitis: After a female friend suffers from fungal vaginitis, the secretion is slightly yellow or white, and the material is generally thick, but sometimes it may be thinner. The typical secretion is like tofu dregs of leucorrhea or curds. The clinical manifestations of Trichomonas vaginitis are itching, burning sensation and painful urination.

3. Candidal vaginitis: If the secretion is pus-like, slightly yellow, and foamy; or if it is like rice water, grayish white, and has a foul odor, you should be alert to Candidal vaginitis; Candidal vulvitis often occurs secondary to Candidal vaginitis.

4. Tumors: Tumors that can be detected in secretions belong to the gynecological category, the most common of which is cervical cancer. In the early stage, there is usually only a lot of mucoid leucorrhea. In the late stage, due to necrosis and dissolution of tumor tissue, in addition to the increase in secretion volume, there is also a significant foul odor.

5. Gonorrhea: The secretion of gonorrhea is yellow pus-like; this disease is caused by purulent inflammation of the urogenital system caused by infection with Neisseria gonorrhoeae (gonococci).

Doctor's reminder: Women should pay attention to the routine examination items of leucorrhea during daily examinations, so as to understand the cleanliness of their vagina at regular intervals and take symptomatic medication under the guidance of a doctor. During the treatment period, sexual intercourse is prohibited, otherwise it may aggravate the symptoms.

Gynecological examinations have a great impact on women's reproductive health. If they are not checked on time, it may cause serious adverse effects on women's health. Therefore, women should understand what needs to be checked in a physical examination, detect it as early as possible, and take active treatment measures as soon as possible to prevent the symptoms from worsening and affecting their health.
