Tips for relieving dysmenorrhea in girls

Menstruation is every girl’s old friend, and it basically comes on time every month. However, some girls are very worried about the arrival of menstruation, because every time menstruation comes, they will experience menstrual cramps. Severe menstrual cramps can cause girls to turn pale or even go into shock. So, how can girls relieve dysmenorrhea? Let’s take a look together.

1. Keep warm and avoid catching cold. Pelvic congestion during menstruation. If it suddenly gets cold, the blood vessels will constrict, causing decreased menstruation, dysmenorrhea or amenorrhea. Therefore, during the menstrual period, you should keep warm, avoid sitting on cold ground or getting in the rain, and don't take a cold shower, wash your feet, or do any work in the rain. Because catching a cold during menstruation will further reduce the body's resistance and cause symptoms. At the same time, the stimulation of cold weather can cause the blood vessels in the uterus and pelvis to contract severely, resulting in sudden cessation of menstruation or scanty menstruation, and subsequent menstrual disorders.

2. Menstrual products should be clean. Menstruation is not a dirty thing, nor is it a dirty "misfortune". Menstrual belts should be made of soft, easy-to-clean cotton cloth. After use, clean them with soap, scald them with hot water, dry them in the sun, and then wrap them up for next use. Menstrual pads should be made of sterilized gauze, cotton wool, or handkerchiefs and should be replaced promptly.

3. Pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva. During menstruation, pay attention to the hygiene of the private parts to avoid inflammation of the private skin, vagina and urethra. Every night before going to bed, clean the vulva with clean warm water. It is not suitable to sit in the basin when washing. It is best not to sit in the bath to prevent waste water from entering the vagina. When wiping after going to the toilet, wipe backwards to prevent E. coli around the anus from being brought into the vagina.

4. Pay attention to diet, exercise and mentality. In terms of diet, you should eat less cold and irritating foods, drink more water, and eat more fruits and vegetables. In terms of activities, in addition to heavy physical work and intense exercise, general labor and outdoor activities can still be participated in, which can promote local blood circulation and relieve some discomfort.
