How does your belly feel when you're pregnant?

Many women don’t know much about pregnancy, and don’t know what their belly feels like when they first get pregnant. Some pregnant women will always be overly anxious in the early stages of pregnancy, fearing that something abnormal will happen to the body. They feel that there will be some abdominal reactions during pregnancy, and they will be worried if there are no reactions. Therefore, pregnant women will always pay attention to the feeling of their abdomen, and seek medical attention in time if there is anything abnormal.

How does your belly feel when you are pregnant?

In the early stages of pregnancy, the abdomen will gradually increase in size as the uterus grows and develops, but many pregnant women will feel pain in the right side of their abdomen in the early stages of pregnancy. In fact, mild pain on the right side of the abdomen in early pregnancy is normal. It is because the growing uterus stimulates the bones. Generally speaking, the pain of an enlarged uterus is bearable and lasts for a dozen or twenty minutes at most. If the pain continues for several days, it is definitely abnormal. If the pain is in the lower right abdomen, it is recommended to do a routine blood test to check the blood phase to see if there is inflammation.

Unlike the abdominal pain on the right side in early pregnancy, many pregnant women also experience abdominal pain on the left side in early pregnancy. If a pregnant mother experiences pain on the left side of her abdomen, it may be that the fertilized egg implants in the uterine cavity in the early stages of pregnancy. A very small number of women experience implantation pain.

As the uterus grows and the round ligament of the uterus stretches, many pregnant women experience some abdominal pain. This type of pain is mostly located on one or both sides of the uterus in the lower abdomen, presenting as referred pain, dull pain or dull pain. The pain will become more obvious when walking a long distance or changing posture. If it comes out on the left side of the groin, it is likely that the fertilized egg has already implanted. But again, if the pain is severe or accompanied by other symptoms, it is best to go to the hospital for a check-up.
