Can postpartum disease be cured?

Can postpartum disease be cured?

It is very important for women to take care of themselves during the confinement period. If they are not well cared for, they may suffer from many diseases. This will cause postpartum cold, which troubles many women and even affects the normal life and work of female friends. So can postpartum illness be cured?

The first response is: It can be cured.

If you have the problem of catching a cold during the confinement period, it will be relatively easier to treat it during the confinement period. But it needs to be emphasized that this does not mean that postpartum cold cannot be cured during the non-confinement period. Therefore, there is no need to artificially create an opportunity for confinement to treat postpartum cold.

It is not necessary to treat postpartum cold during the confinement period, because the bones, tendons and kidneys have already closed and the cold has already enveloped the body. It will take some more time (3-5 months) to treat, but if the cause of the disease is found and treated, there is still a chance for complete recovery.

If a pregnant woman suffers from joint pain during the confinement period, she should, under the guidance of a doctor, use comprehensive treatments such as medication, acupuncture therapy, physical exercise, etc. to persist in treatment. She should not lose confidence, stop and start treatment from time to time, and do not pin her hopes on the unscientific method of "getting pregnant again", so as to avoid falling into another misconception and causing new diseases to occur before the old ones are cured.

It is very easy for postpartum women to be misdiagnosed as rheumatism or rheumatoid arthritis if they catch a cold. If they are treated for rheumatic diseases, there will be little improvement, or the disease may be effective during treatment but relapse quickly after the medication is stopped. Catching a cold during the confinement period is very painful, so you should take precautions against it.

How does one catch a cold during confinement?

1. Experience cold symptoms

Pregnant women suffer from cold due to the weakness of childbirth, and the cold air spreads from the lower abdomen to the whole body. During the delivery process, pregnant women expend a lot of energy, the birth canal bleeds, the skin and bones are open, which leads to the weakness of blood vessels and meridians in the body. If pregnant women do not take care of their health in time after delivery, exogenous evil will take advantage of the opportunity to invade muscles, joints, etc. With the postpartum recovery, the skin and bones are closed, and rheumatic dampness is enclosed in the body, and postpartum rheumatism occurs.

2. Excessive joint activity

Although pregnant women do not move their joints too much before giving birth, after giving birth, if the synovial fluid in the synovial sac of the joint is poor, symptoms such as numbness of the wrist may occur with a little fatigue. It is caused by excessive blood loss after childbirth, insufficient nutrition, and poor blood circulation.

"Postpartum wind", which means catching a cold during the confinement period, usually appears a few days or weeks after giving birth, but it can also remain dormant in the body for two years, more than ten years, or even decades, and develop with the weakening of physical fitness.
